About the position
Cafe Rio is seeking energetic individuals to join our team as restaurant staff. Positions available include line cook, prep cook, dishwasher, cashier, and assistant manager. The role focuses on creating memorable experiences for customers through personal connections while maintaining a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare salads, roll burritos, and take orders to create a memorable customer experience.
- Follow recipes and preparation procedures accurately.
- Portion, prepare, and serve fresh food without the use of freezers or microwaves.
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and safety by adhering to hygiene and safety procedures.
- Engage with customers in a positive and energetic manner.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to stand for more than 8 hours.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
- Culinary skills (knife skills, recipe following, cooking) are a significant advantage.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
