About the position
Cafe Rio is seeking energetic individuals to join our team as restaurant staff. Positions available include line cook, prep cook, dishwasher, cashier, and assistant manager. The role focuses on creating memorable customer experiences through personal connections while preparing and serving fresh food in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare salads, roll burritos, and take orders to create a memorable customer experience.
- Follow recipes and preparation procedures to portion, prepare, and serve food correctly.
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and safety by following hygiene and safety procedures.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and upbeat manner, including singing and dancing during work.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to stand for more than 8 hours.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
- Culinary skills (knife skills, following recipes, cooking) are a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Customer service experience.
