About the position

Griswold Home Care is seeking a part-time Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide non-medical care and companionship to senior clients in the Eden Prairie area. The role focuses on helping clients maintain their dignity and independence through various caregiving tasks. The position offers flexible scheduling and a competitive wage, along with opportunities for ongoing training and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful companionship and caregiving assistance to senior clients in their homes.
• Prepare meals, grocery shop, and perform light housekeeping duties.
• Assist clients with non-medical elderly care tasks such as feeding and bathing.
• Maintain clients' dignity and assist with personal hygiene in a gentle and professional manner.
• Communicate proactively with the office regarding clients' needs and conditions.
• Log and submit accurate documentation of clients' care and any changes in their conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to travel to surrounding cities such as Minneapolis, Edina, and Saint Louis Park.
• 2+ years of home care experience is a plus, but training is provided.
