About the position
The Personal Care Aide role is focused on enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This position involves providing essential personal care and support to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in their daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Perform light housekeeping activities
- Provide medication reminders
- Offer companionship
- Assist with errands and shopping
- Provide personal care duties
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
