About the position
We are seeking dedicated Personal Car/SUV Delivery Drivers to join our team in Eagan, MN. This position is available for both full-time and part-time roles, with a starting date of August 25th, 2024. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for transporting packages to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The job requires a valid driver's license and a minimum of one year of driving experience. You will be using your personal vehicle for deliveries, and it is essential to have a smartphone with a reliable data plan to utilize our delivery tracking app. In this role, you will be expected to lift, load, and deliver merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs. You will maintain a distribution log to track all deliveries made and confirm that all packages are accounted for. The ability to use GPS applications is crucial for navigating routes efficiently. You will also need basic computer skills and a valid email address to communicate effectively with the team. Responsibilities
- Reconcile routes via app.
- Scan packages using personal smartphone (app provided).
- Confirm all packages are accounted for.
- Load route into your vehicle.
- Deliver all packages to homes and/or businesses.
- Return packages to facility.
Requirements
- Valid IL driver's license with a minimum of 1 year driving experience.
- Personal vehicle for deliveries.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. with a valid SSN.
- Smartphone with reliable service and data plan.
- Ability to lift/load/deliver up to 50 lbs of merchandise.
- Basic computer skills and a valid email address.
- Successfully pass a background and motor vehicle record check.
