About the position
Wheatland Bank is seeking a Personal Banker for its Wenatchee Branch. The role involves providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with various banking needs. Responsibilities
- Open various new accounts and educate customers about available services/products.
- Assist with a wide variety of customer services including managing Shared Certificates, Safe Deposit Boxes, and checkbooks.
- Process credit card and loan applications, manage outgoing wires, and resolve fraud issues.
- Explain and expedite the opening, closing, transfer, and rollover of IRA certificates.
- Assist customers with opening Certificate of Deposits (CD) and educate them about penalties and earnings.
- Provide backup to tellers upon request.
- Set up auto transfers and enroll customers for ACH transfers and wires.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act.
- Use customer interactions to advise on additional services or programs that may benefit them.
Requirements
- Minimum of six months of similar or related experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
