We care about our team member well-being and offer benefits that complement and support your work/life balance Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Perioperative Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting efficient surgical operations by preparing rooms, assisting with patient handling, and ensuring the availability and functionality of equipment and supplies. Every day you will open sterile supplies, assist with patient positioning and transport, operate specialized equipment like Stealth and CUSA, manage specimens, and maintain a clean and orderly environment. To be be successful in this role, you will skillfully manage equipment setup and maintenance, ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards, collaborate effectively with the surgical team, and contribute to overall departmental performance improvement. Expresses appropriate communication to patient, families, coworkers, and other customers. Assisting the Surgeon/Anesthesiologist/Nurse Anesthetist/O.R. Staff assists in assuring that necessary equipment and supplies are available for surgery Demonstrates flexibility in accomplishing work tasks.
