Perianesthesia Nurse
About The Position
Ambulatory Anesthesia Care (AAC) has established a safe, effective, and financially viable office-based anesthesia model that has been replicated nationwide. We are expanding our office-based anesthesia practice to Houston, TX, and are seeking skilled and talented pre/intra/post-op Perianesthesia RNs to join our team. This role involves servicing our office-based anesthesia facilities four days a week. If you thrive in a collaborative environment with an anesthesia and surgical team, and are dedicated to delivering safe and quality patient care, this position is ideal for you. Patient care is provided during standard surgeon business hours, Monday through Friday, with no evenings, Sundays, or holidays. Bilingual candidates, especially Spanish speakers, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Graduate degree from an accredited RN program with active RN licensure in the state of TX
- A minimum of 3 years of ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to drive to client locations

Responsibilities
- Pre-operative assessment and care of the patient
- Intra-operative care
- Post-operative/recovery care
- Maintaining the pharmacy and supplies
- Safely handling all equipment
- Participating in quality performance improvement activities
- Assisting with completing pre-operative patient assessments via our secure patient portal
