About The Position

The Performance Improvement Coordinator assists the director with the coordination, development, and implementation of the quality/performance improvement program for Cedar Ridge and Bethany. This role coordinates notifications to leadership, data/report receipt, and prepares for Quality/Performance Improvement meetings and other meetings. The coordinator also takes meeting minutes as assigned, provides educational support to all facility departments regarding quality improvement, accreditation standards, and other regulatory standards. Additionally, the position involves preparing and participating in routine and regulatory chart audits, assisting the director in monitoring regulatory compliance on an ongoing basis, and maintaining a constant state of readiness for regulatory audits. The role also assists with risk management functions as needed.

Requirements

  • One to Two years of experience in healthcare performance improvement and/or healthcare administrative coordinator experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, healthcare or other related field required
  • Relevant experience in direct healthcare performance improvement experience maybe considered in lieu of degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills and computer proficiency required
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
  • Mental health experience preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Successfully complete a drug test
  • Successfully pass a national background check
  • Strong Computer skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior
