About the position

The Performance Dietitian at Bering Global Solutions, LLC will support the Human Performance Program at Tyndall Air Force Base, FL. This role involves providing nutritional guidance and developing nutrition improvement plans for military personnel, particularly student and instructor pilots. The position requires collaboration with the Human Performance Team to ensure comprehensive care for warfighters, utilizing advanced technology and methodologies in a unique human performance facility.

Responsibilities

  • Execute nutrition policy and program requirements according to company guidelines.
  • Serve as the nutrition expert and consultant for a comprehensive fitness program for aircrew personnel.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate performance nutrition program needs using dietetics and behavior change theories.
  • Develop and deliver performance nutrition content and teaching materials for human performance syllabi.
  • Assess nutrition behaviors and needs for the beneficiary population in partnership with human performance staff.
  • Maintain data quality management and reporting requirements in program execution according to DoD guidance.
  • Communicate and coordinate nutrition programs among local leadership and beneficiaries.
  • Employ social marketing tools to meet program goals and objectives.
  • Deliver briefings, educational sessions, and wellness consultations as needed.
  • Review patient records and provide assessments for dietetic treatment requirements.
  • Maintain professional credentials and licensure.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of facility space and equipment used for dietetics services.

Requirements

  • Completion of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited program in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • 3+ years of full-time experience in a similar role.
  • Board eligible Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics by the ADA.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in nutrition education, sports nutrition, public health, health promotion, or community nutrition.
  • Experience working with a tactical population.
