About the position
The After Hours Call Program at North Shore Physicians Group (NSPG) is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide virtual visits and telephonic support to patients during off-hours. This role allows for remote work, focusing on delivering clinical guidance and care when primary practices are closed. The program aims to enhance patient care through innovative practices and a team-based approach.
Responsibilities
- Field calls and conduct virtual visits within a clinically appropriate scope.
- Utilize Schmitt-Thompson triage guidelines/protocols for patient care.
- Access comprehensive patient information via the Epic EMR system.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to patients during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or physician assistant program with a Master's degree.
- Current Massachusetts state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant; New Hampshire state license preferred.
- 5+ years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within a primary care, urgent care, or emergency department.
