About the position
The Per Diem Remote Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant position at North Shore Physicians Group involves providing virtual visits, telephonic support, and clinical guidance to patients during after-hours when primary care practices are closed. This role is designed for experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who can work autonomously and utilize established triage protocols to deliver care effectively from a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Field calls and conduct virtual visits within a clinically appropriate scope.
- Utilize Schmitt-Thompson triage guidelines/protocols for patient care.
- Access comprehensive patient information via the Epic EMR system.
- Provide telephonic support and clinical guidance to patients during after-hours.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or physician assistant program with a Master's degree.
- Current Massachusetts state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant; New Hampshire state license preferred.
- 5+ years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within a primary care, urgent care, or emergency department.
