Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment.
• Assist with peri-operative care of patients.
• Work closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure efficient operation of the surgical team.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of sterile techniques.
• Perform tasks quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Current Surgical Technologist Certification required within one year of graduation from a surgical technologist program.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Four years' experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting preferred.
• Committee and leadership experience preferred.
