About the position
The Counter Server role involves providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. The position requires greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The Counter Server will also be responsible for processing payments and assisting team members as needed. Knowledge of the menu and current promotions is essential to help guests make informed choices.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls and take orders or answer questions while providing excellent customer service.
- Be knowledgeable on all menu items and be able to help guests with placing orders based on their tastes, preferences, diets or allergies.
- Be knowledgeable on all current promotions, specials and offers, and be able to apply them in accordance to our policies.
- Accept and process payments.
- Assist team members as needed in the dining room.
- Provide guests with a positive experience that promotes repeat business and continued patronage.
- Retrieve guest and delivery service pick up orders, paying close attention to detail so orders are accurate.
- Light lifting to stock products or cleaning and maintenance of the dining room.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must have a current Food Handler's Card.
