This is a unique opportunity to work across both our Evergreen community and Ministry Office, gaining exposure to a wide range of functions while partnering closely with leaders and team members. In this role, you won’t just be supporting human resources; you’ll be a key part of how we create a positive and engaging team member experience. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role with exposure to both operational and strategic people & culture work. You’ll gain experience across multiple teams and environments, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within people & culture. This role is on-site and shared between Evergreen in White Rock and the Ministry Office, offering variety and connection across the organization.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in human resources or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in HR coordination, administration, or a similar role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confidence working with HR systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and BC employment standards
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare or a unionized environment is an asset
  • Familiarity with scheduling systems is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Own and support recruitment efforts end-to-end, from job postings to onboarding, helping us attract and retain great talent
  • Be a go-to HR partner for team members and leaders, supporting day-to-day questions and team member relations matters
  • Coordinate and improve HR processes including onboarding, benefits, scheduling, and payroll support
  • Maintain accurate and confidential team member records, ensuring data integrity across systems
  • Support team engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and workplace culture efforts
  • Partner with leadership on HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute ideas and help shape a people-first, values-driven workplace
