About the position
We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for creating innovative and efficient systems. As a Pega Developer, you will play a critical role in the development process, from concept to delivery, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. This position is primarily remote, with the expectation of being based in Tysons Corner, VA, and is open to US citizens, Green Card holders, and Green Card EADs. The duration of the contract is for 2 years with potential extensions. In this role, you will design and develop software applications using a variety of programming languages and technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement system design, ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. Utilizing Agile methodologies, you will manage and prioritize tasks to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of our products. You will also implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of software applications, and develop and maintain complex databases using PL/SQL, ensuring data integrity and performance. Additionally, you will implement VPN connections for secure communication between systems and apply DevOps principles to enhance the speed and quality of our software development process. Your role will also involve writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code using scripting languages, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting software issues, and staying updated with the latest technologies and trends in software development.

Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on system design and development.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Experience with PL/SQL and UNIX operating systems.
- Experience with scripting languages and system design principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
