Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive medication reviews and provide clinical recommendations
  • Collaborate with interprofessional care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on medication management and safety
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric pharmacotherapy and contribute to ongoing education and training programs
  • Participate in code and trauma response and assist in high-acuity situations

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
  • Active pharmacist license or eligible for pharmacist licensure in Indiana
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • PGY-2 Pediatric residency, or equivalent clinical practice experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Board Certification in Pediatric Pharmacy (BCPPS) highly preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications highly preferred
