About The Position

Connecticut Children’s is seeking an academic pediatric cardiologist to join their Cardiovascular Institute. This role involves clinical responsibilities across both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, including an active outpatient clinic and inpatient care for patients with a wide spectrum of cardiovascular diseases. The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams such as cardiac intensivists, cardiac surgery, NICU, inpatient service, and Emergency Medicine to ensure excellent patient care. Faculty members are also involved in educating pediatric cardiology fellows, medical students, pediatric residents, and adult cardiology fellows. Connecticut Children’s is the sole health system in Connecticut exclusively dedicated to children, with a history spanning over 100 years. They offer specialized medical care in more than 30 pediatric specialties across multiple states. Requirements

  • Academic pediatric cardiologist
  • Clinical responsibilities spanning inpatient and outpatient cardiology services

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients with a full range of cardiovascular diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (cardiac intensivist, cardiac surgery, NICU, inpatient service, Emergency Medicine) to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Participate in the education of pediatric cardiology fellows, medical students, pediatric residents, and adult cardiology fellows.
