About The Position

Job Summary The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate physical education program that promotes physical fitness, healthy habits, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while supporting the school’s mission and Catholic values.

Requirements

  • Previous teaching experience in elementary or middle school settings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Catholic teachings with a commitment to integrating faith into the curriculum.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
  • A nurturing, enthusiastic, and mission-driven approach to education, with a passion for helping students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans that incorporate Catholic teachings and values.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Regularly assess and monitor student progress, offering timely feedback and providing necessary academic support.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to ensure student success and promote a team-oriented approach.
  • Participate in school-wide activities, including faith-based events and initiatives, while modeling Catholic teachings in all daily interactions.
  • Participate in ongoing professional growth opportunities and school community engagement activities
