About The Position

This role focuses on patient monitoring and care within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Key responsibilities include interpreting telemetry, managing vasoactive drips, and handling complex medical devices such as chest tubes and ventilators. The position requires utilizing clinical judgment to recognize patient deterioration and respond effectively to changing patient needs. Collaboration with physicians and the broader care team is essential for implementing, documenting, and updating patient treatment plans.

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license
• 1–2 years of recent acute care (PCU/ICU) experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Proficiency in arrhythmia recognition
• Proficiency in high-turnover patient management

• BSN
• PCCN certification
