About the position

The PCB Assembly Technician role at Business Integra Inc. involves assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) in a contract position for a duration of 12 months. The technician will work primarily in an Electro Static Discharge (ESD) environment, utilizing hand tools and microscopes to ensure high-quality assembly according to IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to follow electronic work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
• Utilize hand tools and microscopes for circuit card assembly.
• Work in an Electro Static Discharge (ESD) environment to ensure product integrity.
• Follow electronic work instructions accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 soldering.
• Demonstrated knowledge of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Experience working in an Electro Static Discharge (ESD) environment.
• Proficient in using hand tools for building circuit card assemblies.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Five years of experience in IPC-610 (Preferred).
• Five years of experience with PCBs (Preferred).
