PCA to STNA Sponsorship Program

About the position

We are looking for dedicated individuals who enjoy working with residents and have the desire to advance their skill set. A STNA will focus on performing care to our residents throughout the Care Center. The ideal candidate must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public. Must also have patience, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Perform care to residents throughout the Care Center.
• Attend class for STNA sponsorship program as scheduled.
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and honor Resident’s Rights.
• First aid and CPR certification, preferred.
• Must be available to attend the class schedule and meet the training program criteria.
• Must commit to a Full-time or Part-time position for one year upon completion of the program.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Must have excellent attendance and work history.
