About the position

SoFi is searching for a Payroll Systems Technical Analyst. A self-motivated individual who is eager to contribute and learn. The ideal candidate has strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment; experience in configuring and supporting all aspects of Workday along with keen attention to detail timing. The Workday Administrator is responsible for the administration, and ongoing maintenance and support of the Workday Payroll and Time Tracking platforms while working collaboratively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance of the Workday platform as technical expert applying best practices
  • Perform Workday administrative functions which may include security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, and support for integrations specific to the payroll, time tracking, and absence modules.
  • Support the maintenance and administrative functions for CloudPay and Workday Time & Absence
  • Work closely with functional area subject matter experts and other stakeholders as needed to test and implement efficient solutions
  • Provide ongoing training and system support for all payroll systems
  • Maintain regular reporting for SOX compliance and access reviews
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Support Workday feature release updates and enhancements
  • Model best practice components of customer service
  • Collaborate with the payroll leaders and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within Workday.
  • Provide end-user support and training, ensuring employees and managers are equipped to effectively use Workday and its features.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new functionality.
  • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations or other technology specific field
  • 3+ years experience with Workday in an administration role, with expertise in both the Payroll and Time Tracking modules
  • 2+ years experience with strong understanding of Workday functionality, including configuration, security, business processes, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with HR processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Proficient in Workday reporting and analytics, including report writing and creating dashboards.
  • Experience with ERP, CRM and Database's
  • Experience with ticketing systems (i.e., JIRA, Remedy, etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize (and re-prioritize) as business needs change
  • Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer service orientation
  • Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Fluent in English and Spanish a plus
