We are currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in processing payroll for our small business clients and assisting with various administrative functions related to tax preparation. The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for onboarding new small business clients, informing them about the payroll process, and accurately processing bi-weekly payroll. Additionally, this position involves filing quarterly and annual tax forms, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of payroll software and QuickBooks, demonstrating accuracy and efficiency in their work. Trustworthiness with sensitive information and excellent communication skills are essential, as the Payroll Coordinator will interact with both colleagues and executives. In this role, you will discuss payroll services with new clients, maintain accurate records for small businesses and their employees, and ensure timely payment of federal and state taxes. You will also provide paystubs to employees and file necessary payroll tax forms, including 941 and DE9 forms, as well as annual W2s. The position offers opportunities for cross-training and involvement in tax review calls, where you will review refund and tax results with clients. You will also be responsible for new client onboarding and follow-ups, communicating service offerings, and assisting with bookkeeping and incorporation services.
