The position also involves maintaining patient charts, ensuring accuracy of patient profiles, and overseeing the waiting area. A key aspect is assisting patients with questions regarding insurance claims, disability benefits, and other healthcare-related needs. The representative follows up with insurance companies to ensure coverage approval and maintains records of patient accounts. They also confirm workers' compensation claims and prepare disability claims. The role requires maintaining strict confidentiality and participating in educational activities.
