About the position

As a Patient Service Coordinator at MyEyeDr., you will play a crucial role in providing personalized patient experiences by managing the front desk during check-in and check-out. This position is designed for individuals looking to start a career in the optical industry, with training provided to ensure you deliver a best-in-class experience for patients. You will collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure seamless patient interactions while handling administrative tasks and supporting office operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out process experience that creates a timely, seamless, and positive experience.
• Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to help verify and educate patients on options as they check in/out for appointments.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, schedule appointments, and assist office staff duties as needed.
• Cross train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians as needed.
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team members to provide a seamless patient experience.

Requirements

• Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer-facing role supporting administrative duties and clerical tasks.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure while providing best-in-class service.
• Flexible, nimble, and agile mindset with the ability to wear multiple hats.
• Friendly, caring, and patient-centric individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player willing to collaborate to provide the best patient experience.
• Computer savvy with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Professional attitude with problem-solving abilities.
