Patient Safety Associates are responsible for the following: Transports patients to and from different areas according to patient schedules. Accompanies patients on outside medical appointments to ensure their safety. Reports observations of changes in patient’s condition/ behavior to professional staff. The Safety Associate works under the supervision of a licensed professional to provide constant observation of assigned patients and intervention if necessary to keep those patients safe.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- BLS through the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Behavioral Health Sciences interest preferred
Responsibilities
- Transports patients to and from different areas according to patient schedules.
- Accompanies patients on outside medical appointments to ensure their safety.
- Reports observations of changes in patient’s condition/ behavior to professional staff.
- Provide constant observation of assigned patients and intervention if necessary to keep those patients safe.
