About The Position
Patient Monitors sit with patients who are being evaluated for mental health and substance abuse issues until they are transferred to another facility or released. They help maintain a safe and secure environment for hospital patients, visitors and staff.

- PRN (as needed) position
Responsibilities
- Monitors patient for transport or release from hospital.
- Assists staff handling the patient's care when necessary.
- Protects patient, staff and visitors while monitoring the patient.
- Performs checks on the patient assigned to monitor.
- Enforces rules and hospital policies.
