About the position
Under direction, resolves complex payor issues, resolves high-dollar claims, performs credentialing and acts as liaison with internal coding.
Responsibilities
- Subject matter expert, handles most complex issues, performs audits.
- Ensure accurate billing protocols, monitors pre and post denials.
- Ensures claims are processed timely through interaction with coding process teams.
- Ensures clean audit process.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED Required.
- At least seven (7) years patient financial services experience. Required.
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) - Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) - within 6 months - Required.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
- At least eight (8) years in Healthcare Billing Preferred.
- Experience in revenue cycle A/R billing preferred.
- Hospital Business Institute (HBI) Certification - Hospital Business Institute - within 6 months - Required.
