About the position
The position involves assisting patients with payment collections and general account inquiries at Froedtert Hospital. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with collection of payments and general account inquiries.
- Daily deposit and reconciliation of all payments made to the Cashier's office and other departments.
- File hospital liens for self-pay patients when applicable.
- Manage petty cash disbursement.
Requirements
- One year of experience in billing or collections for medical care/service.
- Experience reconciling cash, checks, and credit card payments for depositing.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience using cash register, printing calculator, and computerized billing/collections systems in a service industry.
- Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
