About the position

The Patient Experience Advisor serves as a subject-matter expert focused on enhancing patient experience to drive positive outcomes, improve team member experience, and strengthen the Moffitt brand. This role involves assessing program needs, developing curricula, and providing mastery-level teaching and coaching to influence and motivate change in alignment with the institution's patient experience strategy. The Advisor collaborates across all organizational levels and plays a crucial role in designing and implementing patient improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on patient experience.
  • Conduct program needs assessments and develop curricula.
  • Teach and coach staff to improve patient experience outcomes.
  • Utilize adult learning methods and instructional design for program development.
  • Analyze patient experience data to drive performance improvement.
  • Evaluate and revise educational programs based on findings.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices for key performance metrics.
  • Act as a coaching resource for leaders and front-line team members.

Requirements

  • Master's degree with a minimum of five years' experience in healthcare or customer service, with a focus on program and curriculum development, training, and coaching.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of ten years' experience in healthcare or customer service, with similar focus as above.
  • Specific experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
