The position is responsible for facilitating communication between the nursing units and the Food Service Department regarding patient menus, diet changes, and general patient services. Additionally, the position involves developing menu tallies for special requests and ensuring familiarity with dietary restrictions to optimize patient care and satisfaction. The individual will also assemble and deliver meal trays to patient rooms and nursing units, and may occasionally prepare salads, desserts, beverages, and other food items.
