About the Role Are you passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive first impression? Edina Plastic Surgery is looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Patient Coordinator to join our team in Edina, MN. As a key member of our front desk team, you’ll serve as both the first and last point of contact for patients—ensuring a seamless, compassionate, and high-quality experience from start to finish.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare, customer service, or a related field
  • Experience in a plastic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, or aesthetic medical setting is highly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software (experience with Nextech EMR is a plus)
  • Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Professional, polished, and patient-centered demeanor

Responsibilities

  • Be the welcoming face and voice of the practice—greet patients in person, over the phone, via text, and through email
  • Schedule consultations, procedures, and follow-ups accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate with patients regarding procedures, pricing, and expectations
  • Maintain and update patient records in our EMR system (Nextech)
  • Guide patients through new patient paperwork and intake processes
  • Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy standards
  • Provide thoughtful and timely follow-up to patient questions or concerns
  • Collaborate with surgeons, providers, and staff to ensure exceptional service and support throughout the patient journey
