This role is for a Patient Care Technologist/OR Technologist at Baptist Medical Center Beaches, a Full-Time Days opportunity. The position involves assisting nursing staff with patient care, managing room stock and turnovers, transporting specimens, patients, and equipment, performing surgical patient shaves and preps, and holding retractors and sterilizing instrumentation. Other duties will vary to support the Operating Room Team. Requirements
- None Surgical Services Experience
- Experience working in an Acute Care setting
- High School Diploma Required
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with the delivery of patient care activities
- Room stock, room turnovers, transport of specimens, patients and equipment
- Surgical Patient shaves and Preps
- Retractor Holding, sterilization of instrumentation
- Other responsibilities vary to meet the needs of the Operating Room Team
