Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities.
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
None required for experience.
Documentation of current State Issued Nursing Assistant Certification or completion of Medical/Surgical semester from a school of nursing program with a B average or better.
Licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician or documentation of a current State issued Emergency Medical Technician License.
Documentation of having worked as a Military Medic/Healthcare Specialist (DD214) or similar military issued document needed to validate training.
Documentation of having successfully completed a Patient Care Technician Program and hold a current Patient Care Tech National Certification (NHA, NCCT or NHCWA).
