About the position
Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- None required for experience.
- Documentation of current State Issued Nursing Assistant Certification or completion of Medical/Surgical semester from a school of nursing program with a B average or better.
- Licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician or documentation of a current State issued Emergency Medical Technician License.
- Documentation of having worked as a Military Medic/Healthcare Specialist (DD214) or similar military issued document needed to validate training.
- Documentation of having successfully completed a Patient Care Technician Program and hold a current Patient Care Tech National Certification (NHA, NCCT or NHCWA).
