About the position
The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC-I) at Integrity Rehab Group- Tucson Orthopaedic plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the clinic. This entry-level position focuses on providing excellent customer service, managing patient intake processes, and supporting the clinic's growth through effective practice management. The PCC-I collaborates closely with the Clinic Director to uphold the mission and values of Upstream Rehabilitation while creating a welcoming environment for patients.
Responsibilities
- Greets everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Schedules new referrals received by fax or by telephone from patients and physician offices.
- Verifies insurance coverage for patients.
- Collects patient payments.
- Maintains an orderly and organized front office workspace.
- Converts referrals into evaluations.
- Creates an inviting clinic atmosphere.
- Makes all welcome calls.
- Monitors and influences arrival rate through the creation of a great customer experience.
- Manages schedule efficiently.
- Manages document routing and personal overtime.
- Manages non-clinical documentation and deposits.
- Monitors clinic inventory.
- Attends required training with Territory Field Trainers for Raintree and other business process updates.
- Completes quarterly compliance training.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills to relate well to Business Office and Field leadership.
- Ability to multitask and maintain organizational detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with little to no supervision.
- Efficient time management and presentation skills as a team member.
