About the position
The Patient Care Coordinator role at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers involves supporting the front desk operations in a private practice physical therapy clinic. The position is designed for individuals who are outgoing and dependable, focusing on providing exceptional customer service and assisting with quality patient care under the supervision of a physical therapist. The role is available for both part-time and full-time schedules, and candidates must be available year-round.
Responsibilities
- Greet all patients in a friendly and courteous manner
- Assist with front desk responsibilities such as answering the phone, scheduling patients, and taking payments
- Observe patients during treatment and report changes in patient's condition to clinical staff
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient therapy environment and assist with patient care as directed by the clinical staff
- Clean treatment tables, equipment, and surfaces and keep supplies stocked
- Perform various forms of physical effort such as walking, standing, squatting, and bending
Requirements
- Experience in customer service
- Experience working in a medical setting
- Background in exercise science preferred
- Dependability and ability to work year-round
