About The Position

HSHS St Vincent Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join our Regional Float Team - Medical/Surgical (Med Surg) Unit. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment with various acuities. This position supports communities throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, across 13 hospitals and numerous community-based health centers and clinics. Requirements

  • Meets educational requirements established in the state of practice.
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is required in Illinois and Wisconsin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Eligible to work as a Nursing Assistant as listed on the state Nurse Aide Registry.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of direct patient care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing support within the Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) Unit.
  • Care for patients with various acuities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Float between facilities including St. Vincent, St. Mary's, St. Nicholas, and St. Clare in Green Bay, Sheboygan, and Oconto Falls.
