About The Position

Visiting Angels Homecare is seeking compassionate, trustworthy, motivated, and independent individuals to join their team as Patient Care Assistants (PCA). As a PCA, you will provide in-home care to the elderly, enabling them to maintain their independence. While a CNA certificate is not required, PCAs must be capable of providing comprehensive care to all clients. This includes companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with personal care tasks such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and grooming. Experience with mechanical lifts (Hoyer, stand-aid, etc.) is also necessary. Hands-on training is available. Visiting Angels serves the Sioux Falls area and surrounding communities, offering both full-time and part-time rewarding caregiver positions. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing dignified and respectful care to seniors.

Requirements

• 1 year of caregiving experience (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Working email and phone
• Ability to pass a background check
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Reliable transportation (including during snow days)

Nice To Haves

• 1 plus year of caregiving experience is preferred.
