Responsibilities
- Conduct professional patient interviews to obtain demographic, financial, and biographical information.
- Understand insurance terminology and verify patient insurance eligibility.
- Confirm benefits eligibility and gather statistical information in compliance with regulations.
- Complete payment transactions and negotiate to collect money owed by patients and guarantors.
- Make referrals to appropriate financial resources such as payment plans and lines of credit.
- Deliver quality performance and service excellence.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service experience required.
- High school diploma or GED.
