As a Food Service Representative at H-E-B, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a well-stocked and organized department. Your responsibilities will include preparing, packaging, and merchandising fresh products daily, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service to customers in person and over the phone.
- Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products effectively.
- Slice, package, label, rotate, and cull products for quality control.
- Clean and sanitize display cases and maintain equipment according to food safety standards.
- Assist in technical areas such as baking, frying, and decorating as needed.
- Record production and shrink to aid in production planning for the bakery department.
- Use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales.
- Perform inventory management processes as required.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
