Parts & Service Assistant
About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Parts & Service Assistant to join their team at Ford Prineville. This role involves assisting the Prineville community by selling OEM and aftermarket parts. The position is hybrid, with duties split between the parts department and the quick lane service department. In the parts department, responsibilities include inventory management, stocking, deliveries, client and technician assistance, and processing orders and returns. In the quick lane service department, duties involve performing light maintenance such as oil changes, inspections, transmission services, tire rotations, coolant services, and filter replacements, as well as maintaining shop cleanliness and adhering to safety standards.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining parts inventory
- Checking in freight
- Stocking shelves
- Delivering parts
- Assisting clients and technicians with parts needs
- Processing orders, returns, and warranties
- Performing light maintenance to vehicles including oil changes, inspections, transmission services, tire rotations, coolant services, and replacing filters
- Assisting with overall shop cleanliness
- Performing work in a safe manner aligned with manufacturer requirements
