About the position

The Outside Parts Sales Representative at CSM Companies, Inc. is responsible for selling heavy and light duty truck parts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This full-time role involves cultivating customer relationships, soliciting new business, and maintaining thorough knowledge of the company's products and services.

Responsibilities

• Sells heavy duty and/or light duty truck parts
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction among all assigned accounts
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all products and services sold by the company
• Cultivate assigned customer territories and accounts
• Solicit and grow new accounts
• Maintains relationships with all customers
• Promotes the sales of parts and accessories and acts as an advisor to wholesale or retail customers
• Spends part of each day soliciting new business
• Successfully completes product and sales training courses as assigned
• Develops and maintains full working knowledge of all company systems, procedures, and policies
• Maintains parts-related correspondence
• Keeps up to date on new products

Requirements

• High school diploma; associate's degree (AA) preferred
• Prior sales experience
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to sit throughout the day while driving to and from various customer locations; average longest single durations approximately 1.5 hours
• Computer, mathematical and customer service skills
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to work in a dealership environment to include 8 - 12 hour days with frequent exposure to weather elements
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and results-driven
