About The Position

The Parts Hanger will handle, hang and unload parts on overhead conveyor moving at approximate speeds of up to 8 to 10 feet per minute. Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.
Must be able to operate hand truck.
Must demonstrate computer literacy.
Ability to stand at paint line or wash line for periods of up to 2 hours at a time.

Nice To Haves

1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Handle, hang and unload parts on overhead conveyor.
Operate a hand truck.
Perform necessary testing to assure quality of parts in an environmentally safe state and maintain records.
Support the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste and acting on environmental performance results and findings.
Clean and change nozzles within the wash system.
Dump/refill wash stages as needed.
Fill out proper paperwork for quality standards.
Stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to Dee Zee customers.
Inspect parts for company quality standards.
Read and comprehend work instructions and control plan.
Set up line with proper hook configurations.
Stand at paint line or wash line for periods of up to 2 hours at a time.
