About the position
We are looking for a Parts Clerk in Lake Norden, South Dakota. The role involves maintaining the inventory of parts and materials used throughout the plant, issuing parts to maintenance and operators, receiving parts and restocking shelves, and keeping the storeroom organized and clean. The schedule is 5-2-2-5 from 6am to 6pm, with double pay on Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the Inventory of parts and materials used throughout the plant.
- Issue parts to Maintenance and Operators.
- Receive parts and restock shelves.
- Keep storeroom organized and clean.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and work as a team.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and field-specific software.
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience preferred.
- Experience operating a forklift required.
