About the position
The Apartment Trash Collector (Service Valet) position offers flexible evening hours for individuals looking to supplement their income or earn extra money alongside another job. The role involves collecting trash from residents' doorsteps and transporting it to the onsite trash compactor at apartment communities, with a focus on convenience and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Transport trash bags collected from residents' doorsteps to the onsite trash compactor.
- Take required photos during service using the company's app.
- Work close to home, serving multiple apartment communities within a 10-15 minute drive.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- A reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer.
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance for your vehicle.
- Ability to adapt to work both indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.
- Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk the distance of the property and be exposed to disagreeable odors.
- Capability to climb up and down staircases/steps multiple times throughout the evening.
- Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize the mobile app.
Nice-to-haves
- No prior experience is necessary; hands-on, paid training is provided.
