About the position
Learn It Systems is seeking a part-time Title I Teacher to work in K-8 classrooms for the 2024/2025 school year. This role is integral to providing exceptional educational experiences for students in need, focusing on reading and mathematics in a small group setting. The Title I Teacher will collaborate with school personnel and parents to implement program components and support students who qualify for Title I assistance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with school administrators and classroom teachers to identify Title I students.
- Plan and deliver effective instruction in a small group setting.
- Administer pre and post assessments to track student progress.
- Consistently track student progress and data.
- Manage the classroom effectively and provide a safe learning environment.
- Escort students to and from the Title I classroom.
Requirements
- Active Teacher Certification preferred.
- Experience working with Title I students is a plus.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers, and parents.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Ability to go up and down stairs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in teaching or tutoring in reading and mathematics.
