About The Position
Cook Memorial Public Library District is seeking a tech-savvy individual with a strong commitment to providing superior library service on our public computers and digital studios. This role involves assisting patrons with various technology resources and conducting workshops.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Desire to learn new technology and digital services.
- Working knowledge of Windows, MacOS, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Internet browsers.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Reliable and willing to fill in extra hours when necessary.
Nice To Haves
- Skills in studio recording, Logic Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, 3D printing, and/or graphic design a plus.
- Ability to speak Spanish desirable, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist patrons with use of Library computers, printers, copiers, electronic devices, and digital studio applications.
- Conduct workshops and 1-on-1 appointments on digitizing analog media and setting up recording sessions in the digital studios.
- Troubleshoot computer and equipment problems.
