About the position

CHS Inc. is seeking a part-time Store Clerk in Missoula, MT, to provide exceptional customer service and support store operations. The role involves cashier responsibilities, stocking and organizing products, tracking inventory, and assisting with displays. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and treat customers professionally.
• Perform cashier responsibilities including accepting payments and issuing receipts.
• Display and organize products in the store for easy customer access.
• Maintain the store's appearance through cleaning and restocking merchandise.
• Assist with ordering merchandise and tracking inventory.
• Monitor customers to assist in loss prevention.
• Assist with preparation of displays and promotions.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies and regulations.
• Identify and communicate workplace hazards and seek assistance in correcting unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English to customers and coworkers.
• Basic math and computer skills to operate store equipment such as cash register and record keeping systems.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours preferred.
