About the position

As a Part-Time Sales Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience in a welcoming and engaging store environment. Your role will involve assisting customers with their shoe selections, maintaining store operations, and contributing to a positive team culture. You will be a key player in driving sales and ensuring that the store meets its performance goals while embodying the values of the Famous Footwear brand.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and create a welcoming environment for shoppers.
• Drive sales performance by reviewing store metrics and communicating effectively with the team.
• Act with integrity by adhering to company policies and seeking feedback for personal development.
• Support a diverse and inclusive work environment, assisting with training and development of teammates.
• Assist customers in finding the perfect shoe styles and ensure they leave satisfied.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store team.
• Strong communication skills with associates at all levels.
• Independent judgment and discretion in partnership with the Store Sales Manager.
• Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and a flexible schedule.
